$ATHN is a BEP20 token with an elastic supply which rewards its holders with a positive rebase formula.

Athena has implemented trading fees to sustain and realize an industry leading APY.

More information :

5% (RFV) - It helps sustain and back the Staking Rewards provided by the Positive Rebase.

5% (Sustain Liquidity) - Backing the liquidity of the BUSD/ATHN pair on Pancakeswap ensuring an ever-increasing collateral value of $ATHN.

5-10% (Treasury) - Supports the RFV value, provides a marketing and hiring budget for Athena , and funds new projects and product development.

ATHN Buy And SELL TAX

Athena's trading (buy and sell) fees are an important component of the AAP. They provide capital for performing critical functions to the protocol.

Other protocols utilize selling bonds to support the same functions as Athena fees, but we believe that this approach is riskier if bonds are not purchased, the token can lose its support and dump in price as we have seen it in several bond based protocols.

The amount of the fees (15% for buys and 20% for sells) allows Athena to provide $ATHN holders a stable high yield of 151,631% annually.

An additional benefit of the high fees is that Athena is the only token that benefits when whales dump, collected fees support $ATHN holders
